Buddy Buddy Productions was born from the bond of four lifelong friends — guys with real, authentic stories and a shared drive to build something from scratch.
We didn’t come from the film industry. No roadmap. No connections. Just decades of friendship, a creative itch we couldn’t ignore, and a story that wouldn’t let go of us. So we jumped in — not just to make a movie, but to create a platform for stories that matter.
It all started as a joke — swapping wild college stories, laughing, venting, reliving the madness of the late '90s. Somewhere between the trauma and the hysterical humor, something real surfaced. Something we had to chase. Buddy Buddy became our way in — and our way to do it on our terms.
Our first film, Cowbirds, is just the beginning. We’ve got more projects on deck, and we’re committed to opening the door for others trying to break in behind us. At the core of it all: friendship, risk, truth — and the belief that sometimes you have to build your own table if you want a seat.

When four freshmen from Staten Island arrive seeking a fresh start, they're pulled into pledging a renegade fraternity-only to discover it's a front for the Buffalo mob. What begins as a dive into wild college fraternity life at Buffalo Creek University quickly spirals into violence, humiliation, and a crisis of identity. As the lines between loyalty and survival blur, the boys must figure out how to escape-or how to stop it-before it destroys their friendship and changes their lives forever.

Cowbirds, known as "brood parasites," lay their eggs in the nests of other birds and force them to raise their young under the threat of destruction. This behavior, called the "mafia hypothesis," symbolizes the manipulative and predatory nature at the heart of our story.
Just as the cowbird thrives by exploiting others, the characters in Cowbirds navigate a world of betrayal, ambition, and corruption, manipulating those around them to survive. The title encapsulates the show's central themes-how power is gained through exploitation and how loyalty can be turned against one's best interests.
